At 347 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Leander to Swamp Branch to Mashfork to Kernie. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Salyersville, Mason, Martin, Fitz, Gifford, Falcon, Carver, Wonnie, Burning Fork, Kernie, Collista, Dotson, West Royalton Station, Blue River, Swamp Branch, Riceville, Cliff, and Perlie.
