At 1155 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Lexington to 11 miles southeast of Salisbury to near Downtown Concord. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Salisbury, West Concord, Harrisburg, China Grove, Spencer, Landis, Granite Quarry, and Rockwell.
