At 510 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 14 miles northwest of Billings West End to 6 miles southeast of Columbus, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
The strong thunderstorms will be near... Laurel around 530 PM MDT. Billings and Billings West End around 535 PM MDT. Billings Heights around 540 PM MDT. Lockwood around 545 PM MDT. Shepherd around 550 PM MDT. Huntley and Worden around 555 PM MDT.
