For the following areas... Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 60 NM...

At 635 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from 6 NM southeast of Sayler Barge to 6 NM west of Altamaha Sound, moving east at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Buoy. At 552 PM, a wind gust to 37 knots was observed at the Grays Reef Buoy.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Honey Barge, Sapelo Buoy S, Grays Reef Buoy, Tug Rio Apon, Tug Elmira, Buoy J, Ferry Boat Janet, Buoy Tender Sagebrush, Steel Barge Modena, K T K Buoy, C A T Buoy, D R H Buoy, John Bird, Buoy B H and Sapelo Channelbuoy 3.
