Wabash River at Covington.

Wabash River at Riverton.

Wabash River at Terre Haute.

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

Wabash River at Montezuma.

.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 4 inches across much of the area is bringing minor lowland flooding to most of the Wabash River basin. The Wabash should crest at Terre Haute on Saturday. Flooding may redevelop on the upper Wabash or be extended at downriver points by moderate to heavy rainfall that is expected Sunday into Monday which is not included in the current forecasts.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding is in progress. High water surrounds many river cabins. Access to most river cabins is by boat only. Levees begin to protect farmland. Extensive flooding of Leaverton Park occurs in Palestine, Illinois.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Thursday /8:00 PM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 15.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EDT Thursday /8:00 PM CDT Thursday/ was 15.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.7 feet Monday morning.
