At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Wardell, or 8 miles northwest of Hayti, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Kennett, Caruthersville, Portageville, Hayti, Steele, Reelfoot Lake State Park, Tiptonville, Ridgely, Hayti Heights, Cooter, Wardell, Bolton, Deering, Heloise, Miston, Cottonwood Grove, Hornbeak, Holland, Samburg, and Bragg City.

This includes Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 2 and 31.
