* WHAT...For the Beach Hazards Statement, Minor tidal overflow flooding and strong rip currest are expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet is expected.
* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara County Central Coast Beaches.
* WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, from Saturday morning through late Saturday night. For the High Surf Advisory, from 6 AM Sunday to 10 PM PDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Pooling of sea water is possible around high tide at beach and harbor areas that is uncommon with normal tidal ranges. Enhanced beach erosion is also possible. The risk for significant damage is very low. There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides of 6.6 to 7.2 feet will be common each morning.

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in such conditions, stay off the rocks.
