* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Much of southwest New Mexico, including the Dona Ana, Grant, Luna, Hidalgo, and Sierra Counties and the Sacramento Mountain in south-central New Mexico.
* WHEN...Through late tonight. An extension beyond this point may be needed.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Increasing upper level moisture and a series of upper level disturbances will lead to rounds of thunderstorms capable of producing torrential downpours. Most of the Gila region has received 1 to 3 inches of rain in recent days, therefore any additional heavy rain could lead to flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
