At 757 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Kenna to near Eleanor. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Charleston, Nitro, Winfield, Jefferson, South Charleston, St. Albans, Dunbar, Sissonville, Eleanor, Poca, Cross Lanes, Institute, Teays Valley, Elkview, Pinch, and Bancroft.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 8. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 100 and 115. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 37 and 57. Route 119 between mile markers 74 and 80.
