Flash Flood Warning

At 1051 AM MST, local law enforcement reported cars stuck along Brawley Wash earlier this morning. Gauge readings at Three Points and Milewide Rd are both decreasing, but flash flooding along the wash is still a threat. This is runoff from last night's thunderstorms and flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Runoff from thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Roads and structures immediately near Brawley Wash may be at risk of flooding.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Three Points and Picture Rocks.

This includes Route 86 between mile markers 149 and 150.
