The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...

* Until 830 PM MDT.

* At 531 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the southern portions of the warned area that are currently receiving heavy rain. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, gulches, roads, and poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Boyero.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Coon Creek, Rush Creek, Big Sandy Creek and Folger Gulch.

This replaces and expands the previous Flash Flood Warning for east central Lincoln County.
