.Minor river flooding continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton. Additional heavy rainfall expected late today into tonight will lead to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also starting on the Wabash at Covington Tuesday evening and Vincennes Monday evening.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EDT Sunday was 18.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.2 feet early Tuesday afternoon.
