Heat Advisory

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 95. For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 102 expected.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine, Cass, Itasca, and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. In Wisconsin, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte Band, Deer Creek area, the Red Cliff Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Fond du Lac Band and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, East Lake and, Big Sandy Lake areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
