Extreme Heat Warning

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 95. For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 100 expected.

* WHERE...Ashland and Sawyer Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation and the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation. Other locations including Madeline Island.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
