* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern New Castle County in northern Delaware... Southeastern Delaware County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 745 AM EDT.

* At 332 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Philadelphia, Wilmington, Chester, Yeadon, Carneys Point, Folcroft, Swarthmore, Penns Grove, Arden, Chester Township, Chelsea and Nether Providence Township.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 7. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 9. Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 15 and 23.
