* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...The South Central Mountains, including the Ruidoso area burn scars.
* WHEN...From 11 AM MDT this morning through this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams on and downstream of recent burn scars may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour over the burn scars surrounding Ruidoso have the potential to produce rapid runoff that would impact creeks and streams in the Ruidoso area.
