Special Weather Statement

At 1058 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles north of New Harmony, or 16 miles west of Cedar City, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Cedar City, Enoch, Parowan, Paragonah, and Summit.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 61 and 81. Utah Route 56 between mile markers 38 and 58.
