* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Austin County in southeastern Texas... Southeastern Brazos County in southeastern Texas... Southern Grimes County in southeastern Texas... Harris County in southeastern Texas... Southwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas... Waller County in southeastern Texas... Eastern Washington County in southeastern Texas...
* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 632 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tomball, Navasota, Hempstead, Prairie View, Pinehurst, Washington, Hockley, Waller, Magnolia, Pine Island, Montgomery and Stagecoach. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
