The storm which prompted the warning has moved into northwestern Bladen county, where a new severe thunderstorm warning has been issued. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for southeastern North Carolina.
Please send your reports of hail or wind damage, including trees or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office in Wilmington at 1 800 697 3901. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for Bladen county until 6:30 PM EDT.
