Special Weather Statement

At 112 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles southeast of Downtown Concord to 12 miles southeast of Uptown Charlotte to 7 miles west of Monroe. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Monroe, Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Stallings, Unionville, Wesley Chapel, Wingate, Marshville, and Lake Park.
