The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern San Saba County in west central Texas...

* Until 1115 PM CDT.

* At 923 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cherokee, Chappel and Bend.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings... CR 424 crossing Rough Creek, County Road 343 crossing Cherokee Creek and County Road 432 crossing Cherokee Creek.
