At 325 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Clinton, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Goldsboro, Clinton, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Harrells, Roseboro, Garland, Newton Grove, Salemburg, and Turkey.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 342 and 359.
