* Special Marine Warning for... Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 NM... Coastal waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC out 20 NM... Waters from Little River Inlet SC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 1230 AM EDT.

* At 1137 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located over Atlantic Ledge, moving east at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include... Gary Ennis Reef and Atlantic Ledge.
