At 412 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Bootjack, or 10 miles southwest of Yosemite South Entrance, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Yosemite South Entrance, Oakhurst, Bootjack, Metcalf Gap, Mariposa Grove, Batterson, Bass Lake Ranger District, Wawona Campground, Fish Camp, Wawona, Wawona Vistor Center, Jerseydale, and Ahwahnee.
