At 355 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over Big Cypress Seminole Reservation, or 25 miles south of Montura, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Funnel clouds, wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph, and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
