* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Eastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 900 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 601 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Gauges along Sabino Creek and Bear Creek have recorded 0.50-0.75 inches in the last 45 minutes. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Sabino Creek, Esperero Wash, Bird Canyon, Ventana Canyon Wash and Tanque Verde Wash. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tanque Verde, Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Catalina Foothills and Seven Falls. - This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
