Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County.
Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello.
* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Agricultural land near the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 21.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Friday was 22.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 15.6 feet Friday, October 02. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
