For the following areas... Waters from Cape Lookout to Surf City NC from 20 to 60 NM...

At 802 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Topsail Tire Reef to 13 nm southeast of Ar355 to 22 nm south of Ar345, moving south at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
