The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... East central La Paz County in west central Arizona...

* Until 500 PM MST.

* At 413 PM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Vicksburg Junction, or 39 miles south of Alamo Lake, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Salome, Vicksburg, Vicksburg Junction, and Harcuvar.

This includes the following highways... AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 44 and 63. US Highway 60 between mile markers 46 and 59. AZ Route 72 between mile markers 46 and 49.
