Chikaskia River near Corbin affecting Sumner County.
Verdigris River at Independence affecting Montgomery and Wilson Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Chikaskia River near Corbin.
* WHEN...Until Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, left bank overflows extend out to about 100 yard. A low water bridge on South Sumner Road, 3 miles downstream from gage site or 2 miles southwest of Corbin, floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
