* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Virginia, including the following counties, in central Virginia, Campbell. In south central Virginia, Bedford.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 359 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Buffalo Creek, Back Creek, Cheese Creek, Big Otter River and Flat Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Altavista...
