The Flood Warning will expire at 1215 PM MDT this afternoon for a portion of southern Utah, including the following areas, Garfield, Kane and San Juan.
Heavy rain has ended and widespread flood threat is generally decreasing. That said, larger drainage basins will retain water for a longer period of time, and will gradually drain over the next day or so. Some drainages will still be running fast and high in areas while flood waters continue to recede.
Please continue to heed remaining road closures and use caution around area drainages that still contain water. Some backcountry roads may remain impassable due to the prior flooding.
