Flash Flood Warning

At 430 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has ended over the Billy Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain fell earlier this afternoon. Flooding impacts will likely continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Billy Fire scar.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sierra Ancha Wilderness.

This includes State Route 288 between mile markers 273 and 286.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds... Rose Creek Campground, Reynolds Creek Campground, Coon Creek Campground and Elks Youth Camp.
