* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with afternoon with afternoon and early evening heat index values as high as 105 to 115 degrees.

* WHERE...Jewell, Mitchell, Osborne, Phillips, Rooks, and Smith Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures Monday morning will provide only limited relief from the heat, dropping no lower than the mid to upper 70s in most areas.
