.Heavy rain of 5 to 10 inches across portions of west central Florida caused several rivers across the region to remain in flood stage over the next few days.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Peace River at Arcadia at SR 70.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Up to 60 homes at River Acres are flooded. The Woman's Club and American Legion are impacted.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:30 PM EST Tuesday was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.0 feet on 02/21/1998. - https://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
