Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.
* WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to late Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding with livestock cut off and equipment destroyed in lowest areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges are dangerous to auto traffic above Barksdale to below Carrizo Springs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 7.0 feet late this evening. It will then fall to 6.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will rise to 10.5 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall to 10.4 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to 13.1 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet on 04/26/1990. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
