* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northern Maryland, including the following areas, in central Maryland, Anne Arundel. In northern Maryland, Southeast Harford and Southern Baltimore.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and a few thunderstorms with very heavy rain are likely through this afternoon. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour may result in localized totals of 2 to 3 inches, which would result in flooding mainly in urban and poor drainage areas. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
