* IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 347 PM CDT, the public reported heavy rain in water approaching homes near Simmesport. due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 6 and 13 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
