* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Brown County in west central Texas... Southeastern Coleman County in west central Texas... McCulloch County in west central Texas... Mason County in west central Texas... San Saba County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 415 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, including city streets and low water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 121 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a large area of light to occasionally moderate rain due to showers and thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected in some areas. With soils already saturated from recent rainfall, this additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brownwood, Brady, San Saba, Early, Mason, Santa Anna, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Bangs, Blanket, Melvin, Rochelle, Placid, Sloan, Skeeterville, Voca, Mercury, Elm Grove and Camp San Saba. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... Belle Plain at Romines, Gifford at Beaver, 4th Street at Wood, Magnolia at Belmeade, Cordell at Anderson, Good Shephard at 11th, South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th, White Street at Live Oak Creek, Willis at Belmeade and Indian Creek at 9th. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
