East Branch Delaware At Hancock affecting Wayne and Delaware Counties.
For the East Branch Delaware River...including Harvard, Hancock... Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...East Branch Delaware at Hancock.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Between 18 and 22 feet, water inundates low lying areas next to the river and along Peas Eddy Road and LaBarre Street. Water reaches the edge of properties between the river and East Front Street. Water approaches Bodoit Road in Fishs Eddy.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise and crest just above flood stage this afternoon, then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...No available flood history. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
