* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...Central Otero County in south central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 752 PM MDT, the public reported flooding in the advisory area. This is causing arroyo and small stream flooding. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sacramento, Mayhill, Pinon, Weed and Sixteen Springs. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instructions
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
