* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and steep wind-driven seas 6 to 8 ft. Tonight, seas becoming very steep at 8 to 12 feet ft.

* WHERE...Gusty north winds will affect all areas. Very steep and hazardous seas are expected south of Cape Arago, with steep seas to the north.

* WHEN...The Small Craft Advisory is in effect until 8 PM PDT Thursday. The Hazardous Seas Warning is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 8 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or damage vessels.
