At 541 PM PDT, a large wall of dust was along a line extending from near Salton City to 9 miles east of Bombay Beach to 27 miles northeast of Brawley, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Less than one quarter mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph.

IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
This includes the following highways... CA Route 78 between mile markers 4 and 13. CA Route 111 between mile markers 31 and 65. CA Route 86 between mile markers 36 and 67.
Locations impacted include... Salton City, Salton Sea Beach, Desert Shores, Bombay Beach, Calipatria, Slab City, Niland, Winona, Imperial Hot Mineral Springs, and Coolidge Springs.
