* WHAT...The Flash Flood Warning has been converted to a Flood Advisory as thunderstorms have ended but flood conditions may persist. Showers are expected to continue over the next couple of hours before ending this evening.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Maine, including the following county, Piscataquis.
* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 455 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Parkman and Wellington. - For flood safety visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood
