At 623 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 36 nm south of Farewell Buoy to 37 nm east of Pilottown, moving south at 5 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
