* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 3 to 6 feet. For the Gale Warning, northeast winds 25 to 35 kt with occasional gusts up to 50 kt and seas 5 to 8 feet expected.
* WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New Haven, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EDT early this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 6 AM this morning to 6 AM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
