* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 25 kt and waves 3 to 6 feet. For the Gale Warning, north winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 4 to 7 feet expected.
* WHERE...New York Harbor, including Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EDT early this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 2 PM this afternoon to 8 PM EDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
