Special Weather Statement

At 801 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Marion Junction to near Gordonville. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Selma, Valley Grande, Marion, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Selmont-West Selmont, Autaugaville, White Hall, Gordonville, Orrville, Lowndesboro, Benton, Bogue Chitto, Vaiden, Tyler, Dannelly Reservoir, Mulberry, Paul M Grist State Park, and Dallas Lake.
