* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1.5 inches is possible along the Susitna and Chulitna Basins through Wednesday afternoon.
Talkeetna: The heavy rainfall and drainage from high terrain near the Alaska Range could be impactful to erosion-prone areas and low-lying or poor-drainage areas throughout the rest of the Susitna Valley. Small rivers such as Montana Creek are expected to rise as well, but not to the level that occurred in late July.
Petersville Area: Small creeks in and around Petersville such as Peters Creek and Cache Creek could experience flooding, with the highest water levels expected between Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning.
