* WHEN...Until 215 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1119 AM EDT, Great Smoky Mountains National Park staff reported heavy rain in Cades Cove due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. A few roads in Cades Cove are closed due to high water. - Cades Cove and other places with nearby streams are the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
